    Delete xbox one saves from the cloud


    I'm trying to start over with Forza Horizon 4. All of the previous threads I can find regarding deleting cloud saves suggest going to the game, selecting manage, going to the save, and choosing delete saves everywhere, but that isn't an option. I am only
    able to delete local saves, so when I launch the game again, it just downloads my old save that I'm trying to get rid of. Any help?

    You can't delete cloud content, but if you delete something from your console it will be also deleted in the cloud.

    Just a thought, if you disconnect your Xbox One from Xbox Live and attempt a save while offline, do you get any change or do you still get the same error?

    Generally when you save while connected, you are saving to the cloud, deleting content from your Xbox One does not actually free space from the cloud. As this

    Savegames often use cloud saving on Xbox One nowadays, could try deleting the save data from the game and then open the game again as it should start syncing your save files from the cloud.

    Hi Rust in Peace95,

    If you have a local save that is corrupted, you can recover the cloud save. To do this go to your game tile, press menu, then manage game, then Saved data. Press A, and select "Delete From Console". Make sure you do not delete from everywhere or you'll
    purge your saved game. After that your game will re-sync the last good saved data from the cloud.

    if you are playing on an Xbox One then you do have cloud saves, it is only the 360 that needs Gold for saving to the cloud so you could try deleting local save data then letting it sync from the cloud.
