Delete/transfer gamertag

Hi,

Currently my gamertag is under an old email address.

This email will be deleted in a period, so I want to put my current email address under my gamertag.

Though i noticed that my current email address also has a gamertag(Don't even remember creating this).

How do i delete this gamertag on my main emailaddress and then transfer my genuin gamertag + profile + achievements to it?

I've been searching on the forums but i keep getting to ' switch email' but that won't work cause my emailaddress allready has a gamertag.

Transfer of Gamertag

I've recently changed my email address, but I inadvertantly created a gamertag on the new live ID I'm currently using. I have found no way to delete the gamertag via the computer, the only way being to delete it from an XBox 360 console, and this new gamertag
is not associated with any, there fore I cannot delete or transfer it and free up my new WLID to allow me to transfer my Gamertag to it. Please help. >_<

Hi

It is not possible to merge two Xbox accounts into one single account, If the E-mail address you are using is about to be deleted I would suggest that you create an account with one of the free E-mail providers and change the E-mail address on the account
to that.

try a liscence transfer.

have you moved your gamertag in any way since you last used the dlc?

did the gamertag your using buy the dlc or was it another?

delete from storage ,redownload,if that doesnt work try a transfer,if that doesnt work try recovering your gamertag,if that doesnt work,call xbox live and talk to a rep.

How do you delete the marketplace cache? Also it shouldn't need a license transfer it's on the same hard drive and gamertag that it was originally bought with.

I would start by deleting your cache and possibly consider recovering your gamertag. Have you tried logging in on your friend's xbox? Either by downloading your gamertag or transferring it via USB?

Gamertags can not be "deleted". They can only be removed from consoles. The gamertag will still exist within the entire Xbox Live service.

If you have transferred a content license, some (or all) of that content may belong to the gamertag in question, hence it reappearing.
