Delete personal account

    Xbox Live Gold Account Deletion.

    Well for one you cannot delete an account

    What they probably did was something else

    Deletion of personal info

    Accounts cannot be deleted as the data doesn't belong to you

    No servers will allow a user to delete an account due to the security risk

    You can however delete your account off your hd and make an new account

    And no it won't move your items from your account like game saves

    I had the same problem, you need to delete the account of your xbox after that u can add the account back.
    Maybe that will also work for you.

    When will banned GTs become available?

    Hey there,

    As far as I know, banned account do not get deleted.

    They remain in the Xbox Servers.

    Deleting the banned account will be kinda dumb in a way.

    Because the banned account still actually belongs to a person, and surely that person wouldn't want to get his account deleted.

    So, I really don't think it will get removed/deleted.

    As many have stated, the new GamerTag system is being rolled out soon allowing for you to change your name.

    That said, targeting "Dead accounts" is against the service, haha.

    Yes, I kinda like the 5 year wait. Just got back in touch with a Xbox friend who was inactive for going on 3 years. Glad I didnt delete her and was super happy when I saw her come online.

    im pretty sure this account has been inactive for alot more than 5 years because it has a xbox 360 profile picture and has no gamerscore.
