Delete Everywhere

Hi there, quick question. does the delete everywhere option on X1 remove the achievements i've unlocked?? NFS Rivals has reset my saved data twice in the last few days AND doesn't show my friends' times in autolog even though they see mine. i'd like to simply
delete my saved game in case there's an issue and start over but i don't want to lose the achievements...

Delete Everywhere

Does Delete Everywhere immediately deletes the save file from the console and in the cloud? I understand that there is no backup unless I copy it to an external HDD but won't it be safe if the
Delete Everywhere option triggers the Xbox One console to ask for a passcode, right? What if there was some idiot who used the same console and plays a prank on me and deletes my save, to torment me.

Delete Everywhere does indeed delete from the cloud all you can do is keep the idiot off your console.

I am not 100% sure about your achievements but you will delete save game data in the cloud I have a game I don't bother with I will see what happens ill be back

Sadly, no passcode requirement. I hope there is some kind of security if the save has to be deleted 'everywhere'.

I asked xbox directly, I hope they have some way of recovering at least some data.

Hi EternallySpoopy, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I apologize but choosing "Delete Everywhere" means that your cloud saves will be removed from everywhere including local and cloud storage.

This means that you may need to start from scratch and there is no option to recover the lost cloud save. I'm sorry for that.
