  1. "Delete everywhere" option from Manage Game->Saved data has gone

I have used the Delete everywhere option a couple of times but when I look now it has gone, only Delete from console is present. I know there are cloud saves for the games because they come down when I delete the console save and restart them. Recently I took
the XBox One upgrade early April and I went from a trial Gold subscription to a 12 month one. (don't think this is relevant) Any ideas please, I need to reset the games for a birthday and have already recreated the account once for something else....

    Thanks,

    Stuart

    :)

  2. Delete Xbox 360 game save from cloud

    Hey there!

Try going to your My Games and Apps section, selecting Plants v. Zombies, press the Menu button (Start) and hit Manage. Once there you will see Saved Data on the right side. Select the profile's saved data by pressing A. It will give you the option to Delete
from Consols, Delete Everywhere, and Cancel. Press Delete Everywhere and that will clear your cloud and local saves.

    Hope this helps!

I hate having to ask a n00b question, but...

Using Cloud Game Saves | Xbox One

How do I delete saves I don’t want?
You can manage your data for individual games through My games & apps on your Home screen. Here's how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games and apps.
    2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.
    3. In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.
    4. You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
      • Delete from console removes the local copy of this save. You can get it from the cloud the next time you play.
      • Delete everywhere removes your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on.
      • Cancel leaves your data intact.

  4. "Delete everywhere" option from Manage Game->Saved data has gone

    Hey, Sage!

I'm sorry to see any issues with removing the game save from the cloud. We believe this to be by design at this time. However, there is a way we can kind of get around what you're experiencing.

Once you delete your save, set your console to offline mode. If the game you want to play has a campaign mode, play the game while set to offline. You'll need
to make sure your console is set as your Home console to play games while offline. After playing a bit, save, and then connect back up. When you launch the game up next, it
will ask if you want to use the local save or the cloud save. Select the local save, and that will overwrite your cloud save.

I do suggest posting up to bring that option back on our Feedback site if you are interested in pushing for that returning. This is the best place to ensure your voice is heard.

Let me know if the workaround helps you out! If you have any other concerns about this, too, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm happy to help out where I can. "Delete everywhere" option from Manage Game->Saved data has gone :)

    error code 0x80831002

    Hi Jim,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Which device are you getting this error on? If on the console you can clear your save data without deleting the game. Go to my games and apps>highlight game>hit start(menu) button>go to manage game>go to save
data>click on save will say delete from console or delete everywhere. Select delete from everywhere. Important note if you delete from everywhere you delete from console and the cloud. All your progress will be gone.

    Thanks,

    Brad

how do you delete data on online games

    Hello Ompatel,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand want to delete your online data? From the console you can go to my games and apps>highlight the game> hit start button go to manage game and add on. Then find the save data and hit A, two options will come up
delete from console or delete from everywhere. You will want to select delete from everywhere to delete from console and cloud. However with Fortnite there is data that is saved on the server side. Unfortunately, there is no way of deleting that.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Data files

    Ok, I understand.

That depends on whether the console has already synchronized the deleted game to the cloud.

If the console hasn't deleted the game save from the cloud yet, the game sync with the save file in the cloud automatically. When you start the game, it'll download the save from the cloud.

If the game save however is gone in the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get it back again.

If you went to Menu > Manage Games > Saves > Delete Save Data > “Delete Everywhere“, it's deleted from the cloud and can't be recovered.
