    Delayed xbox live subscription


    I purchased a 3 month gold Live subscription online today but had to change the mobile number on my account as you still had my old number. It is now saying that due to the change on the account the live subscription will not be activated for one month.
    This leaves my son with no access to online gaming for one month. Is there any way I can get him live access in the meantime? If I purchase a physical 3 month live subscription card will I be able to use it? If so what will happen to the 3 month subscription
    I purchased online?

    Hopefully Getting My First XBox One Today!!!

    Congrats! The Live subscription works for both the 360 and Xbox One. It's not different subscriptions.

    When you are able to let's contact the
    chat     team to look into any options they may have to get the subscription working for you now. As this appears to be related to a security lockout of the account due to the change on the account they may not be able to help in this instance.

    This may have been some delay on the server, but try accessing your settings
    -> account -> subscriptions and see if the Xbox Live subscription still exists.

    Just upgraded to LIVE gold cant use Live features.

    There is a slight delay between this site and on the Xbox, whenever you make changes to your account (such as buying a Gold subscription).

    In the future, you can test your connection to Xbox LIVE to speed it up or recover your gamertag.
