Delayed startup followed by green screen

I am having what appears to be a major problem with my xbox one. I've had it for multiple months and it has worked great. I cam home from work one day, turned on the xbox and nothing happened. I checked the input options on my TV and it now said that there
was nothing plugged into the HDMI port that the xbox one was actually plugged into. After about 5 minutes a message popped up that said "A new device has been detected in HDMO port 2". I accepted this, only to have my xbox get stuck on the green screen. The
problem has persisted for over a month.

I've tried many things. I have tried another HDMI port, a different HDMI cord, even a completely different TV. None of these problems have fixed the issue. I have successfully used other HDMI connected devices with the same cord and in the same port, but
it does not seem to work with my xbox one.

I also tried to do the offline system diagnostic tool. This is not working either. The system simply won't respond when I try to turn it on in the manner that the directions tell you to. I downloaded the correct file, placed it on the properly formatted
thumb drive, and plugged it into the xbox. When I hold the two buttons and then press power on my xbox it turns on but will not force read the thumb drive. Then of course I still have to wait about 5 minutes before the xbox is even recognized as being plugged
into the HDMI port.

Any advice s to how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Beta update report:

Got the latest update. I could tell it was that by the following startup procedure to log on my ONE:

1.not responding to voice command "XBOX-ON"

2. Turning on manually to find black screen.

3. Rebooted by holding power button for 10 seconds, waiting an additional 10 seconds then powering unit back up.

4. Was greeted by green XBOX startup, followed by the black screen, finally the familiar greeting and dashboard. Now its time for some Titanfall.

 

Xbox One takes way too long to boot up

By sign-in I meant the green Xbox startup screen, which also seems to be taking forever to complete.

 

Did you ensure the files on the Flash drive are not in a folder? They have to be on the root of the thumb drive. Also, it may help if you turn off your router so that the console isn't trying to download the file and it only has the USB file to use.

 

I am having the exact same problem. I have tried the Offline system update diagnostic tool 10 times in a row and not once has it worked or even seemed like it wanted to work. I had the internet completely off in my house and still nothing. I hope that someone
reads this and follows up with an answer soon. I don't know what else I can do.
