Definition of a core gamer?

Even though I said the term gamer reduces it to the simplest terms, it also refers to all gamers in general in an umbrella kind of way. It's the umbrella term of gamers of all kinds - every type of gamer falls underneath it. It's as broad as you can get
without getting into specifics, which is why it works and the others don't.

This is a topic that can't be resolved because each individual has their own definition of what a gamer is. As long as things remain civil, this thread could last for quite some time.

I enjoyed reading what people think is a hardcore game. Fun read to be honest

 

Wether you play on a tablet or your phone or a console handheld etc you have played your part within gaming and will continue to do so. It's relevant how long you spend as everyone is different.

 

Personally I think gamer is an apt term for any one who plays games. I think "hardcore" gamer came from someone's over inflated ego trying to present themselves in such a way as too say "I'm better than you". There is no such thing as a hardcore gamer. Your
either a gamer..... Or not. Just my opinion!
