Definitely not a COD killer.

Funny how many tell me to return to cod but I have never ever ever ever ever compared the two games. Funny.

I am very upset because TF is not what I expected and I don't understand the whole reasoning behind bots and giving away titans. Titans should be earned and the mp should be 10v10. I can't say that the game is not fun but it lacks innovation. The game can
be tooooo fast paced which is great for a run and gun gamer like me but tactically it does not have an edge. Sit back wait 2 minutes or so get a titan and hit auto pilot. Jump out the titan and go back to doing what, look for humans in a cluster !-$& of bots
while Timmy and his clan camp a section of the map with six titans as they pop off head shots from the roof top behind the titans.

The game does not take much work but it's level of simplicity and fun for me was obscured by the unnecessary use of bots and how easy titans are obtained and used. No real challenge guys. I wanted to get on this game and play it until my gaming chair decays
under me and then I played the beta and the official release and I am like, OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS BORING. WHAT INNOVATION, WHAT BREATH OF FRESH AIR, WHAT THE HELL IS SOOOOO AMAZING??????

I played capture the flag and was like ok this is fun but after 5 matches it just repeatedly turned into let's not score the flag and just shoot each other and play with our transformers until ok my ADD meds kick in.

To each they own but this game does not have that umphhh!

The Best COD MP ever !!!

Not the best, but I definitely prefer the way they went this time around. Cod started to cater to the shipment/nuke town people a little too much in recent titles. In games like cod 4, mw2 and ghosts you can approach them with different play styles...not
just run, kill, die, run, kill, die. There is rhythm to larger call of duty maps...not just chaos

 

Spitfire... Useless?

Definitely a Titan killer only. This game is very fast paced, and all it takes is an accurate first burst from any other primary weapon to score a kill. This definitely isnt a game where you can provide support or overwatch, for the most part. Not to
mention the giant red dot you become when you fire the thing.

This is true. It definitely isn't a COD killer because COD already killed itself with its repetition from year to year.

I don't understand the point of comparing TF to COD. Who cares? Evaluate each game on its own merits and play what you like. I don't see the point in coming into the TF forums and ranting about how TF isn't as good as COD. The comparison is irrelevant and,
at this point, continuing the discussion just feels like trolling to me.

That analysis sounds exactly like a COD game to me. Every new COD game brings the exact same comments about players camping for kills in objective modes.

 

I won't go back to cod after playing this.

I think it's just a simple case of some preferring one game, some prefer the other.

Personally I haven't enjoyed a COD game online since Black Ops ( COD 2 and 4 were my personal favourite ) I just find them extremely boring now, but that's just me!

So even before playing the Titanfall beta I wouldn't have gone back to COD, maybe in future if they really spice it up but even putting it up against the Titanfall beta, well all I can say is, "no contest"

COD 2 HALO I'm not gonna call you out because yeah the bots can give away position, BUT with that being said the bots only give your position away if you're a camper the bots don't move the way players do. All I am gonna say is camping in this game is a
death sentence once titans are in play or when someone good actually comes around your back and you're the victim of another necksnap. I have been following some of the stuff you're saying though and yeah this game was overhyped I'm already bored kinda after
2 days of this because of the simple fact it's too easy. I won't go into detail here because I already started my own thread with my thoughts on the lack of skilled players

 

Well log I have been saying and thinking what your last sentence or two state since two matches into the beta! The game is for prepubescent gamers sorry! Was in a gaming shop today and the majority agreed with what I have been saying about titanfall. No
challenge and no degree of skill needed to truly succeed. After your done playing you are left with a void, an emptiness.

 

There's no sense of accomplishment it's just oh hey another person running around aimlessly looking for a camping spot since that's what FPS game have sadly been teaching people that movement is bad and camping is good and finally titanfall changes that
and we get people that run around like they have no idea what's going on and to an extent they don't because once again COD has trained people camping will equal success while in titanfall movement is key so honestly it's not so much the game as the hard headed
people who play the game like it's COD when it's not COD
