    The controller is brand new is defective. Brand new Microsoft quality product sure another example greedy owners Microsoft focus on sales vs quality product. They not a green company. When new product in a sealed packaging is broken. Who did inspection of products?

    Power button sticks. Do the victim of bad good get a free product or game? Been loyal customer since the first xbox.

    Every company produces defective items, it’s a fact of life. Return it to the store and exchange it for a new one and I’m sure that one will work fine.

    Welcome to xbox, you just have to buy another controller. I have had about 30 controllers, and not one doesn't have a defect that affects gameplay. The quality is horrible and no one from MS will acknowledge it.
