Defected Xbox One Custom Controller, but it is past Warranty!

I bought a custom controller back in January or February. it worked fine until we noticed the joystick drift on its own. We aparently don't have any warranty left, but seems like we would be just within warranty. We would really love for an exchange not
even a refund.Both loyal xbox gamers, still are despite spending 110.00 to get a half working controller. If we can't exchange does anyone know how we can fix it without taking the controller apart and probably ruining it more. If we can't get either of those
we should atleast get a credit of ultimate for a month or 2 its the least you could do after all we spent with you guys for about 10 years or so. subscriptions are on my boyfriends account but its my card used to purchase that for a valentines day gift. and
exchange would work best cause you could fix the joystick just wont for us cause we "don't" have warranty apparently

I hope the xbox design lab sees this post as and is kind enough to help us out. Otherwise we might have to go to PS5...

did you register the controller?

go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ and select Add Device then fill in the details on the form and it will then update the warranty status

I have contacted them by chat online . They called terrible connection thought he was going to help us use my warranty since its a month old if that but than disconnected.. and charged me long distance fees also

Just contact xbox support. Also Playstation has its issues also i have both so dont think playstation is issue free
