    1 min it worked i was in a party next minute it lags and says connecting lagged me out i rejoin and my microphone isnt working. i can hear and mute my mice adjust the volume party chat says mic is plugged in but it stopped detecting my voice. so broken.
    i want a ps4

    Hello people, my xbox one mic will not work when trying to play black ops 2 on the xbox one. But it does work completely fine for actual xbox one games, is my mic the problem? Can i fix this without getting a new mic or must i buy a new mic?

    I am having the same issue. With my headset I can hear game audio, if I'm in a party chat I can hear my friends talking but the mic doesn't work. My mic does work outside of the xbox app perfectly. The headphones and mic are set to default in the playback
    devices. It's an issue with the app and it needs to be updated.

    App Privacy -> Microphone is turned on

    Xbox Privacy is set to 'Adult defaults'

    I've tried a couple of headsets - one is a 3.5mm pair of headphones which I use regularly so I know the mic does work. The other is an Xbox One original headset plugged into the controller. When plugged in both show that there is a headset attached.
