    Default install location not working


    I've recently purchased a SSD for my xbox one S and it works great. However I'm having to move every single game over to it. I've set it to install to the external drive by default however my xbox still installs it to the internal drive every single time. Wondered if there is any solution to this?

    Hmm try a factory reset while keeping your apps and games.

    ress the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select reset and keep my games & apps

    Yes and hard rebooted each time, it makes no difference.

    Is avery game having this issue or just new gen games?

    Try performing a full power cycle

    Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    Once the lights on the front of the console, unplug the power cable from the rear of the console.

    Wait at least 30 seconds.

    Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.
