    The backwards compatibility program has ended now so if a game isn't backwards compatible now it wont be added so there's no way to play it on current consoles.

    The game you mentioned probably wasn't added due to licensing issues.

    The backwards compatibility team are currently working on next gen / Series X and all work on adding games has been put on hold.

    I would say it is worth suggesting this on the Xbox Insiders Reddit page as this is where you would put forward ideas and suggestions to improve the Xbox platform.

    Def Jam Fight For New York for the original Xbox is NOT supported on the Xbox 360.

    However, there is a sequel to the game, Def Jam Icon, that came out on the 360 if you're interested in the genre of rappers beating the crap out of eachother.
