Deep Rock Galactic Windows Store Version does not save any progress and always starts over...

Hello dear community,

I am currently struggeling with playing Deep Rock Galactic on Windows 10. I already had the Xbox Game Preview Version from 2018 and played this game for a while. I wanted to play on PC now and had to buy the Windows Store Version again. Sadly after starting
the game, the game won't sync my current progress on XBox to my PC installation (or its cloud saves) and even worse, won't even save a single bit of game progress overall. Here is comes an exact replay of the issue I have encountered:

1. Installed the game

2. Started the game

3. Logged in with my account and authorized the sync

4. Game loaded into Info Page

Here I encountered the first issues: It tells me to connect to the Club, get my free credits, etc.. But I already have a (cloud save) progress and I can load it up on my xbox with the same account. So I decided to go on.

5. Click Continue

6. Tutorial mission starts

7. Finished tutorial mission

8. Bought a beard, etc.

9. Left the game

10. Started the game again

11. Go back to 4.) and rinse and repeat

The game does not even save my local progress. Basically the game is a kinda rogue-like game now where all my progress is lost when I leave.

What did I do to solve the problem?

I googled and tryied out all possible solutions from re-install game, clear cache, install on other hard drive, login with other account and logoff again, repair windows store, repair windows, check hard drive and file sanity, access permissions of installations
folders, etc. etc. etc.. Nothing works. The game always starts from scratch ignoring any progress on any account I use for login.

Did anyone experienced this before? Maybe on a different game?

I need help!
