    Deep Rock Galactic In-game Voice Chat


    I play on my PC using the MS store version of the game, along with 2 other friends. One other plays on PC and the other players on Xbox.

    We can all play together fine, most of the time. However, two of us, myself and the xbox player can voice chat without the use of xbox party chat; almost as if there is some in-game voice chat working. The other PC player cannot voice chat though, unless
    they are in party chat with us.

    We also cannot turn off this seemingly in-game voice chat, which creates quite a bad echo effect when we all go in to Party Chat to talk to the PC player.

    Does anyone know what is causing this in-game voice chat? We are not running any other softwares which might cause this to occur.

    On your hard drive, there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the game again.

    If the problem persists, follow this path, delete everything from the folder, restart your PC and try downloading the game again.
