    Dedicated servers Xbox one


    I have been very happy with Minecraft but I thought after microsoft purchased Minecraft that they would implement dedicated servers so that players can drop in and out of shared worlds with each other. This has been done on PC and I don't know if it would
    be possible on consoles.

    Has as anyone heard anything regarding this? If so can you back up your claims with links to creditable sites?

    Call of duty Xbox one "real" dedicated servers

    From what I know Ghost on the Xbox One will use Microsoft's Azure Dedicated servers while the PS4, PS3, 360 and Wii U will use dedicated servers and listen servers.

    Does Microsoft provide dedicated servers for all online games on the xbox one?

    For instance, does CoD have dedicated servers, thus making gameplay lag free?

    ^Infinity Ward has already released a statement that the Xbox One is not strictly dedicated servers, it's a mixture of dedicated and listen servers. As for every other game, there will be dedicated servers available but there's no guarantee that every single
    match you play will be on them.

    Well there are a few dedicated servers such as in call of duty: ghost on the xbox 360. And yes Microsoft confirmed that all xbox one titles and games will have dedicated servers.

    it is a different network as all of it runs on dedicated servers, and all the games run on dedicated server, that is why there is no cross play and no party chat between 360 and xbox one, and this xbox one is awesome, glad I got one.

    If they confirm dedicated servers in my country for this game I will buy a Xbox One for it. They have said it will have dedicated servers but going to wait and see which countries they are in.
