Decline game updates?

Hi,

I've just moved to a new home and I haven't got broadband installed yet and it won't happen for a while. To fill the gap and allow some online gaming I'm using 3G internet but it's annoying that my console keeps insisting on downloading multiple gigabyte
updates (Forza currently wants to down load a 3Gb or £15 update). My question is, is there any way to decline updates so you can just play the game offline? Many thanks in advance!

My xbox live is acting very strange

i had issues with mine , some one invited me to 007 legends and i decline it said cant decline game invites

If you didn't want to install an update, I would disable the network on your Xbox so you can play offline. That way, it won't ask you to update.

Decline the update, install the game, then start the game and apply the update.

For updates related to the Xbox service, there will be a prompt as your dashboard loads, where you can accept or decline the update. For updates related to a game, there will be a prompt as the game begins to load, which you can also accept or decline.
