December update?

My Xbox one was working fine yesterday....I turned it on today to see an update being installed now NOTHING works....Has anyone else experienced issues?

Release Calendar - December - Updated 12/11

So far December looks to be a little desolate, minus a few big retail & downloadable content releases of course. I know a lot of people, including myself, are eagerly looking forward to Far Cry 3. In case you don't know
much about Far Cry 3, it's a tropical vacation full of murderous pirates, deadly wild animals, and insanity, what's not to love?


Telltale Game'**** digital download series, The Walking Dead, will be coming to retail this month. It will include all 5 episodes of the game series for $30, so now is the perfect opportunity to experience one of the more
emotionally developed stories in gaming this generation.

And lastly on the DLC front, we have the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim, which looks to be quite an expansive download akin to Shivering Isles for Oblivion, thankfully. I know many people were waiting for a DLC equal in size.
Of course if you're playing Halo 4, I'm sure you're happy to hear the first map pack for Halo 4, titled "Crimson", will be hitting December 10th for 800 Microsoft Points.

All of this makes me wonder if the app/landing page is only available on these dates? The 'calendar' provided did not suggest this, but we are left wondering.....

 

December Update? Maybe that is why my controller won't do anything.
