December Backwards Compatibility

The first Darkness game was the first game I had last gen, I played that game to death lol.

The second one was definitely different but I still really enjoyed it. Prefer the first as well though.

Part of of me still has hope for a Darkness 3 someday since the second one practically ended on a giant cliffhanger. But I don't know if it'll ever happen :/

Hi there,

the only thing that was mentioned was that there will be a games added started December, so could be any day now. Other then that there hasn't been any announcement yet.

All I want is Skyrim... My 360 broke and I dont want to buy a new one just for Skyrim! I heard Bethesda actually ported it to the One as an exercise, I don't know why they can't make it available already!

And Red Dead Redemption would be awesome too.

 

At least we have bioshocks, I have all 3 and never played them,,,,,,

I know right? I'm a bad shopper and every sunday it's new game time. I'm looking forward to playing these and borderlands, not to mention gow 2 and 3.

 

RedEye you haven't played the fist Bisoshock?? Wow your in for a treat, best game of the series by far and an outstanding title on its own.

 

I played a few minutes but at the time I had allot of rpgs and jrpgs I was playing so I totally missed it. I will def play it on the xb1 and the original borderlands.

 

Will there ever be backward compatibility for Xbox 360 Kinect games? I very naively assumed that backward the announced compatibility meant all 360 games including Kinect ones. The connect games are our favorites and we certainly don't want to loose the
significant investment we have in them.

 

By the way... We will purchase (and have purchased) new Kinect games for Xbox One but as stated we have a lot of investment in 360 Kinect games. Since we assumed backward compatibility meant Kinect games too we went ahead and traded our 360 console when
we purchased the Xbox One. I guess we should have read the fine print before trading.

 

What's the reason behind developers not wanting their games BC? It's not like people aren't playing them on their 360. This just gives people an option of not having to deal with 2 consoles. What gives?

Thats what I was thinking haha. The only thing I can think of is losing sales because people trying to pick these games up pre-owned for really cheap.

Or drives down the sales of their remasters lol.
