    So I was once able to pay with my debit card on Xbox and today I logged on to buy Xbox live but my card was removed so I re entered it and it wont work, but I know my card is valid because i have already purchased something today I don"t know if its a problem
    with Microsoft or what but its pretty annoying.

    Credit cards. Be careful all of you debit card users. Credit cards are insured, debit cards are not.

    Debit cards / Gift cards

    I've had my debit card on there for like 5 years and never had an issue.

    There is a service alert up at the time of posting which is affecting content purchases etc. so that's most likely the problem.

    this happens to me alot of times, usually it means that #1 there is not enought funds on your debit card...thats why it cant authorize the payment, #2 it might not be able to authorise payment from the type of debit card your using ,but usually its
    the 1st option...let me know if this helps...

    CAN'T USE PAYPAL WHEN USING YOUR MICROSOFT ACCOUNT!!!

    I'm in the UK and don't have that problem, I have used Paypal and debit cards, when it asks you to add a credit card just add your debit card details, it worked for me.
