Death Stranding Directors Cut achievements bugged

I've been playing through the game and I got to around episode 5 before my Internet stopped working and I started to play through the game while I was offline and completed it. After my Internet started to work again the achievements for each episode after episode 4 didn't unlock and still haven't. I've tried clearing the xbox series x cache as other people have said that might work but that hasn't seemed to have done anything so I'm not sure if I would need to play through the whole game again to get the achievements to unlock.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this. In my experience, when you played offline, it may take time to sync your achievements. Kindly note that being connected to the internet while doing achievements is one of the requirements so it will sync correctly. It will be validated to Xbox Live as one of the process. It may also take days to sync as well.

You may check your achievement progress on the Xbox app or website to confirm if syncing issues are affecting only the console.

You may try doing the achievement again and see if it will trigger (if possible for the game.) If not, you may try resyncing your profile to the console. Here's how:

Ensure that you know your Microsoft account and password before doing so and your console is connected to the internet.

-Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

-Profile & System > Settings > Account > Remove account

-Select the account that you want to remove, and then select "Remove" to confirm.

-Once done, select Close.

Then, you can restart your console > long-press Xbox button on the controller > Restart

Lastly, sign in to your account again by:

-Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

-Go to Sign in > Add new
