Dear Xbox Live

Xbox has been going this direction for a VERY long time and has made no secret of it. Getting rid of the MS point system is also an effort to simplify the XBL marketplace across the entire world. It's a natural evolution that I've been in favor of since
I bought my first console. I think seeing 400 MSP causes a knee-jerk reaction in people to think $4 when it's actually $5. Now, when you see a product for $5, it's $5. That's a whole lot easier than seeing 320, 400, 800, 1200, 1600 etc. MSP and then trying
to do the math. Prepaid cards will still be around but rather than "point" cards they'll work a little more like gift cards. Hell, there may even exist a type of card to credit your account with "One Year of Xbox Live Gold". Really we'll just have to see
how it goes on that front. Oh, and for the record, threatening to (insert comment about moving toward a console other than Xbox here) NEVER inspires sympathy in this crowd. Do what you feel you need to do.

I'm done with them. Their CS is absolute garbage. I didn't mind paying for live when everything ran smoothly but if anything goes wrong its absolute Hell. All solutions are just ways for them to nickel and dime me which is just aggravating. At least when
things break on the PSN I don't feel like I'm getting worked over for more and more little things. I was a full Xbox guy for a while but I canceled my XboxOne preorder recently. MS is different now, and not in a good way. There are too many other good options
for the same services for them to be like this.

I agree 100%. I recommend at-least a 3mb connection for Xbox Live. That needs to be a good steady connection as well. Blaming Microsoft or Xbox wont help you. This is only going to create mega frustration for you.

I'm sorry, but are you saying that just because we pay for a service, that it must never have issues or need maintenance? If so, you're living in dreamland.
