Dear Microsoft

I originally intended to send this by email. I found myself, however, unable to find any contact email on Microsoft's website. I found phone numbers, I found a chat service, and I found this forum. Of all three, this one seemed the most proper to send this
kind of message. I am posting this on this specific forum because its description says if I don't know where to post, I should post it here.

I have bought my X360 about 4 years ago. It is an amazing piece of hardware, built with a quality that very much reminds me of the old (and discontinued) Sidewinder, which I have long considered to be the Microsoft's standard. It is robust, sleek, and most
importantly, just works. My game collection sits a little over 100 games, and I usually purchase one or two new games every month. Currently, I find myself wondering whether I should upgrade to XONE.

You see, the current line up of XONE titles seems to be composed solely of Microsoft software and big franchise titles. It seems that 9 out of 10 games are released as exclusive to Sony's console and Microsoft's current atittude towards this seems to be
"screw it, we have Halo." This was very much the same atittude that Nintendo had with their N64 console that allowed the PS1 to gain a lot of market share.

It seems to me that the only thing that I have to lose by not upgrading to XONE and moving to the Sony side is that I will not be able to play Halo 5, while having a lot to gain. Impressions can be wrong, so I am writing in the hopes that you can actually
calm my fears.

Because when your own executives are saying you cannot beat Sony because of the games that they have, and your best trumph is telling me that I will be able to play my X360 games on my XONE, games that I can already play on my X360 just fine, so it is of
no benefit whatsoever to me, then I fear a lot that Microsoft is going the way of Nintendo.

Dear Microsoft,

Do others use this controller? You may not be aggressive when you play but perhaps others are.

I know that when my son plays he has his own controller because he pushes a little too hard on the sticks.

It's not that I'm aggressive, I take very good care of my things, I don't think I've ever been angry at a game in the past three years, I've never thrown my controller and I usually try to clean them too. It just won't connect. Tried multiple battery packs,
tried re-syncing, the thing just doesn't want to connect.

You are joking right? The Xbox One has loads more exculsives than the PS4 at the moment & that isn't changing for a while yet.

Besides,no one from Microsoft reads these forums.

The exclusives, actually. Thank you. This is very much what I needed to hear.

 

To each their own, but I think having 360 games playable on the X1 was a win for Microsoft.

This November we'll see what other games are announced for it and if things go the way I would hope they do. It will be a win win in my book.

 

It is a little strange you can't contact THE technology company by email. That would be super easy.

 

Xbox One is awful. I'm gonna have to buy a Chromebook just to surf the net
