It has come to my attention that you are trying too hard. It did not start this way and as I think of the past I have almost nothing but fond memories, yet as time goes on I am starting to discover problems with our relationship. You see, our relationship
has been fairly heavily one sided. You continually ask me for personal information that has nothing to do with you, and what I ask falls on deaf ears. I understand that some friends do indeed share such information, but I personally do not wish to and you
as my companion should be able to understand and accept that.

Secondly, I have also noticed a split in your attention not unlike when you trying to play a game with a friend and they continually text on their phone. Yes while you are becoming more active outside of the gaming community, I feel a drifting between us. You
offer me so many things that I have no interest in. We no longer meet eye-to-eye. You want television, internet, skype, voice activation, motion controls, cameras, facial recognition, cloud storage, cloud computing, hdmi connections, and multi-tasking. So
many things that I will never use, so much wasted time...I understand that these are great accomplishments and I hope that you can understand that I do not want to tear you down simply ask for a favor.

I am a simple gamer. I do not need any of the things above. I would like to be able to continue playing my favorite old games on the new console. I would like to have an option of how my console connects to my television so I can play in more places. (Even
ones with out an HDMI port on the TV) I would like to not be forced into buying accessories that I will never use. I am impressed with your personal development, but you've lost sight of what you are supposed to be or at least what you used to be to me.

I understand we are long past the point of no return, but there is still something you could do for me. Keep doing the things you are. I know you have made new friends along the path you have chosen, but please act like your true self around me. A new version,
a simpler console. One not based on options I will never use. One with Zero features not pertaining to my gaming. One that gives Zero regrets to it's buyer for it grants simply what they want. A gaming console. A great gaming console with a focus on nothing
but gaming and playing games with friends.

I know it can be frightening to take a step back and reevaluate yourself, but if you don't believe me then take a poll. Ask the many friends you have driven away with your self righteous drive for universal affection. It is impossible to have everyone like
you, but it is not impossible to give those that do what they quietly request. We want to play games. Games with friends. Games with family. Games with enemies. Games with Zero fuss. Zero red tape. Zero clutter.

Own your mistakes. Accept what many feel is a betrayal. Do not rally against it. You may have thought they forgot and moved on, and many have. I have not, such action does not settle well with me. I do how ever want to help you right the real, and some imagined,
wrongs. I want you to not force the options you think we want upon us, but ask us what it is we want. I think you will find we are easier to please than what many make us out to be. We want to play games in all their beautiful emotions. Make us a console that
is for nothing else but gaming. One that has the options to have more, but not one that forces us to. Is it not better to start with a strong base and build up from there?

I know that I do not represent everyone, but I hope you will consider this post not with annoyance or dismiss it with ease. I also hope that those who agree with me will help spread word of our requests and those that don't agree say so respectfully. This is
nothing more than a sharing of how I feel and a request.

I must end this here because I have started to ramble and repeat. Here's to hoping for an Xbox Zero. A console with the gamer's in mind.
