    Dear 343 get your act together and fix this game


    Dear 343 Microsoft and whomever else is to blame,

    Get your *** together! This is insulting, ridiculous, unacceptable, and a slap in the face to your own flagship franchise. How is it possible that the older versions of these games worked better then the remastered ones?! Did you not beta test at all?
    I have only been able to successfully play in 3 matchmaking games since the release. I can't back out of a lobby without losing my entire party either when it does work. You really need to fix this insult of a game you put out before an entire fanbase leaves.
    If this was any other game I would have returned it, but luckily for you halo is the reason that I and many others even got xbox in the first place so I give you more rope. However if you do not fix this in a reasonable amount of time I will have no other
    choice but to trade this in for a game that's online actually works. Please fix this halo 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games and I really want to be able to play halo 2 multiplayer with my friends and the beta. I was beyond excited for this game which makes
    this all that much more disappointing. PLEASE FIX THIS!

    Also when you can get back online make sure you go to the settings app and set your xbox as your home console. If you do that your games will work next time you are offline(apart from the multiplayer mode obviously)

    Thank you for all the replies, but I still cannot make my xbox set as home, so I may just try one last time and try contacting Xbox Support and see if they can be of any help...

    I understand that you are frustrated but they are trying to do the best they can. I'm frustrated too but the attacks seem to have long lasting effects on the servers. Hopefully this will not happen again. There is no way technologically they can prevent
    this. I'm sorry that you have been trouble contacting support.

    Hi there Abdullah welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Unfortunately, no Microsoft employees here, only gamers, but, as someone who had this issue myself I can give a good advice, this occurs due to a licensing issue that is affecting a lot of users! These steps may help! (This hasn't helped all users but at least some have reported ir as a solution)

    Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

    Open Accounts

    Click Sign-in Options

    Scroll down to Privacy

    Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

    Restart your PC!

    why use the launcher, i use minecraft direct without the launcher, you have the option to install minecraft with or without launcher in the xbox app.
