Deals on Gold

Hi Guys

I don't know if any of you have experience or not but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a question.

I know that with Games on gold, if you cancel your membership on Xbox One then the games become unplayable until you re-subscribe.

At the moment you can get Battlefield at 50% discount through Deals on Gold.

Does anyone know if you lose the games that you have purchased at discounted price via live gold or do these continue to work even when you cancel the gold membership?

I don't like the idea of paying money, even at a discounted price if I have to have gold to play them. For example what if I had no internet connection for a year for some bizarre reason. I would rather buy the games at full price from the local store and
know they would work without the gold membership.

I currently have around 10 months left on my membership so don't have anyway of knowing whether they still work or not?

Has anyone here purchased any games through deals on gold and then cancelled their gold membership? If so do the games still work?

Gold sale gone for FFXV?

It was part of a Deals with Gold that ended on February 27. Deals with Gold change every Tuesday. There are generally no sales that end on Sundays.

 

Deals with Gold is different from Games with Gold so you get to keep any games you buy with deals even if you go to a silver account

Think of it as a sale for gold members.

 

You should go for ea access its £20 for a year and Battlefield is one of the games you get plus many more
