Deadliest Warrior game doesn't work, despite being on backwards compatibility list

Today, I just picked up a copy of Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat for the Xbox 360. The game is a compilation that includes both Deadliest Warrior: The Game and Deadliest Warrior: Legends, two games that were featured on the XBLA and all of their DLC. I want to play these games on my Xbox Series X, and since the games might be delisted at some point, I got this disc. I know for a fact that the two XBLA games are on the backwards compatibility list but the Series X is telling me that my disc is not backwards compatible. Why is it giving me this error if this disc is just two XBLA games that ARE on the backwards compatibility list? I have other games that fit this criteria that work just fine on my Series X (Xbox Arcade Unplugged, Dreamcast Collection and Namco Virtual Arcade to name a few). Is this disc just not registered right on Microsoft's end? Do I have a defective disc itself? I don't own a regular Xbox 360 to test this on so I don't know what to do from here. Any help would be much appreciated

I just picked up this game today. Same disc and everything and I’m also going through the same issues you are. It’s up to Microsoft to fix this issue.

Are the games on separate desks or one disk? If they’re on one disk it’s very possible that This compilation is not included in the disks that are authorized for the program

Both games are on the same game disc, yeah. I assumed that wouldn't be an issues because all of the above examples I've stated are also single disc games that when put into my Series X, gives me all the individual XBLA icons. Is there any way I can bring this to the attention of someone at Xbox or Microsoft to get it authorized? It seems like an oversight

It doesn't launch as a regular game.

As noted above when you start Ancient Combat it kicks you to your games list. Here you will see
Deadliest Warrior and Deadliest Warrior: Legends listed.

You can start the two games from there. Essentially the disc is a 'launcher' to take you to the place to start the two individual games.

when you try and launch Deadliest warrior ancient combat it will take you back to the my games list...The reason is the disc contains both 1 and 2 of the arcade games. So you must select which one you want to run, either deadliest warrior 1 or 2.

i messed around with it for awhile, i was like wtf then tried and it worked.
