    Dead to Rights controls


    For the backwards compatible version of Dead to Rights for Xbox One, it appears the game's original controls for Shadow (lock-on + X) are missing. You can cycle through your weapons to get to Shadow, but the game slows down a ton and is nearly unplayable.

    Also, I thought I remembered the original game having a way to reverse camera controls, but I could be mistaken about that. Am I missing the options for these?

    Dead Rising 3 shooting controls are are now like normal 3rd person shooter controls, like Red Dead Redemption for example

    Question - is there a way to keep the default controls but to remove the knife attack by pressing the right analogue stick - i have some OAP moments and panic knife causing me to not shoot and eventually get very dead!

    Controller Stick Drift every so often.

    For those interested in why this can happen...

    "Every controller stick has what's called a "dead zone" and that's the area that the controllers position is registered as 0, or no movement.

    Over time and with use, the sticks idle position will drift out of the dead zone, an indicator of this is if it seems loose and moves easily, and will seem to move position on it's own because the hardware detects the stick is out of the dead zone."

    Looking at your video it looks like the controller is within limits of the analogue stick dead zones and isn't a defect as such.

    If you don't want that give in the controllers thumb sticks you may want to look into third party controllers although right now they are few and far between but you can find them on the likes of Amazon.

    best zombie game?

    Dead Rising 3 is the first zombie game that I am taking seriously. I'm having such a blast playing it right now. There is nothing more satisfying then hopping on a steam roller, and taking a leisurely drive down a zombie infested road. The controller
    shakes at all the right moments, and there is a very satisfying crunch sound.
