This is one remaster I would buy in a second !!!

I wholeheartedly agree. I never finished ANY of the games and it would be good, I think, to go back and do that.

 

I'm tired of remakes of games from the previous gen. Bringing back older games than that makes sense in a way. I mean, there are players out there who didn't have a PS2 or anything older than that, me included, yet we still would like to experience the old
classics without the use of an emulator. But c'mon, games from 360/PS3, especially this early into the current gen? No. Just no. Unless it's bundled with a new game like someone already said, so DS1-3 -only- if we also get DS4 in the same pack. I want new
games and remaking older ones just takes resources away from that.

Dead Space 4 won't be out for quite a while because EA wasn't happy with the sales of Dead Space 3.

EA still cares about the Dead Space franchise, but they are taking a break from it for a while.

A remaster would be a waste of time and effort.

Most of the stuff being packaged as "New Games" are remasters of the same old stuff using the same old engines despite what they tell you.

As much as I love "Star Wars" the Battlefield re-skin probably won't be enough to get me to throw money at it.

"Assassin's Creed: Syndicate"... well if they stopped releasing this game long enough for us to miss it... but there's too many.

Same with "HALO" which when it released was nothing more than a competant shooter suddenly thrust into the arms of a mass market.

But then not everyone has played "HALO" since the beginning or even "Assassin's Creed" for that matter.

For these people these games should be a great treat.

At least there's some remasters coming to the platform that were never on the platform before.

 

I loved DS1, one of my favourite games at the time and still hold fond memories of stomping necromorphs into tiny pieces, then stomping some more, then what the hey one more stomp for good measures lol!

In my opinion the series went down hill, and I couldn't even bear to finish DS3. I just didn't buy in to the co-op levels, and didn't like the fact that if I didn't have a co-op partner I felt I was literally missing out on what should have been part of
the core game.

With many good games releasing over the coming months I just wouldn't have the time to play remastered games. Sometimes nostalgia is best left in the memory where it belongs. I'm a massive Gears of War fan (my daughter is even named Anya after the character
Anya Stroud), but I couldn't even be bothered to finish GOW1 re-make and sold it within a week, and also massive a Halo fan but barely touched Halo MCC (can't wait for Halo 5, will be at Tesco tonight at 12am and day off work booked for tomorrow).

Sorry now I'm babbling on, short answer to the question is 'no'.

 

Yeah,...DS was not so good after the 1st. Thanks EA...the 1st was the greatest. Then they tried to add MP...lol. The best games IMO that are are the single player, unless your a MP bot. Nothing beats witcher series, the Elder Scrolls, Zelda, or Fallout...again
IMO... And Dead Space original...

 

Couldn't edit my post but I forgot the Games Tomb Raider and Original Resident Evil games till they tried the MP dynamic...lol. Code name:Veronica...so awesome...

Multiplayer should have been kept out of the Dead Space games.

The only reason that I can think of to as why multiplyer was added was to attract the multiplayer crowd to buy the game because they (the multiplayer crowd) ignored Dead Space 1 because it lacked multiplayer.

If EA were going to do a 'remaster' this is the series that deserves it. I'd buy it in a second. I love the Dead Space games. The 'jaggies' on last gen were really apparent, so smooth out the edges, up the resolution, and increase texture quality... the
games would stand pretty tall on this-gen IMO.

Maybe they could even add Dead Spcae: Ignition, and that Wii/PS3 game, Dead Space: Extraction to the bundle, since Xbox gamers missed out on that one. It would probably be a clunky mess, but it has some story filler for Isaac's missus on the Ishimura.

Throw in the movies Downfall and Aftermath for a super-value bundle. Job'd be a gud un.

Also, I've tried Dead Space Extraction on the Original Wii and it is fun; although the controls felt very weird though and the view takes some getting used to when compared to the Xbox 360 games
