Dead Space “One Gun” achievement

So I had played Dead Space on my Xbox 360 several years ago, and unlocked every achievement except for “One Gun” and “Epic Tier 3 Engineer.” I recently downloaded Dead Space on my Xbox one and did a play through using only the plasma cutter (for the one
gun achievement). So I finished the play through, and the achievement popped on my screen. Well, when I go into my achievement list, it still says it is locked. Has this happened to anyone else?? It is very frustrating after putting that much time into
it.

Very good game. Not in league with Dead Space and no where near as amazing as Dead Space 2, but one thing the Dead Space series has always had was that the game feel very well made to play.

If your going for the achievements, remember that if you installed the DLC that you will need to do all that before any collectables will pop.
