Dead Space Achievements not popping

like the title already says, after I finally got to play one of the greatest games ever made on xbox one I realized, that unfortunately the achievements are not popping. I am now halfway through chapter 2 but the achievement for completing chapter on still
didnt pop. when I open the achievement tab it doesn't even list the games achievements. is that a known error? is it even possible to earn achievements for xbox 360 games on xbox one?

PS: I didnt play the game on 360 before so I havn't won any of the achievements before. thanks for your help in advance!

Dead Space 3 Achievements

[/quote]I am opponent of co-op in Dead Space. Which is why my first play through will be done solo for the full Dead Space experience. Once I have that, I stop caring. I'll play through again with a friend. It's not a big deal.

Use of Peng

A Dead Space with no Peng would not be a Dead Space. Even the dlc in DS2 had its own Peng. Agree though we should have been able to sell it or something. At least it's there and there's an achievement.

Hiya eXitus676,

Have you tried redownloading your profile to the Xbox 360 emulation? You can do this by pressing both the Menu and View buttons at once to bring up the 360 Guide, and selecting the Download Profile option.

Very good game. Not in league with Dead Space and no where near as amazing as Dead Space 2, but one thing the Dead Space series has always had was that the game feel very well made to play.

If your going for the achievements, remember that if you installed the DLC that you will need to do all that before any collectables will pop.

“If you're on Xbox One/Series X|S
Ensure you were connected to Xbox Live. If you weren't, try connecting to Xbox Live, then attempt to unlock the achievement again.

If you were connected to Xbox Live and you completed the full requirements for the achievement, but the achievement seems ‘stuck’ at 100% complete or “Done! Unlocking…”, go to the achievement detail view on Xbox.com or on your Xbox One console to double-check whether it is still locked.

If your achievement is still locked, wait a full 72 hours and then check on Xbox.com or your Xbox One console and see if the achievement shows as unlocked. It may have unlocked while you were away from your console, PC, or phone.

If things still aren't looking right, give the following troubleshooting steps a shot:

Remove your account from your Xbox One console.
Power cycle your Xbox One console.
Download your account to your Xbox One console.
Attempt to unlock the Achievement again.

If the achievement is showing as unlocked, but you're not seeing the Gamerscore from the achievement added to your total Gamerscore and the unlocked count for the game in question is incorrect: Head over to your profile on Xbox.com, view the game and achievement in question on your profile, then wait a full 72 hours for things to process.”
