Dead Space achievements aren't showing up

Was playing ds backwards compatble and got a few achievments but when i go to my achievements under my profile it say ds is 0% completed and none was added to my gamerscore

Weird gamerpicture glitch?

I have a similar glitch that everytime I go to my played games and see the game pictures, the Fallout New Vegas and Dead Space 2 ones aren't showing but either being in blank or showing a friends gamerpic in there...

Yeah. I am having the same problem here. I completed my 1st playthrough and I unlocked 800GS that makes my profile on xbox 360 guide worth 8600GS. But when I view on my achievements screen on Xbox One, my profile is only worth 7825GS, my Dead Space game
only had 3 achievements unlocked worth 45GS. I don't know if the problem is that I 'can not' connect to Xbox live on xbox 360 when I sign to the game

You need to be signed into the Xbox 360 emulator in order to earn achievements properly. Make sure that when you start any backwards compatible title that you are indeed signed into Xbox Live. You may check this by pressing the menu and view buttons at the
same time.

If you can't connect, a factory restore will fix the issue. You can find that in the Xbox One settings. Go to All Settings > System > Console Info & Updates. Make sure to select "Keep my Games and Apps" so you don't have to re-download everything!

Hi Blitz, I did everything you said, but when I started Dead Space, it asked me to download my profile. I waited and it said "Can't connect to Xbox Live. Select Test Connection to troubleshoot your connection." I checked and all of my services are available.
What should I do now?

Please clear the local Xbox 360 storage in Settings > All Settings > Storage. From there, try another factory restore keeping your games and apps once more.

You mean I have to clear the xbox 360 storage in xbox 360 game or in xbox one screen?

FYI, when I first launched Dead Space, before playing the game, there was a "Getting your xbox 360 info" message along with the bar. At that time, the bar was filled with the black line. But when I tried factory restore and played the game, there was no
black line, just the circle kept rotating and went straight to the game. And I just powered my xbox one, played the game and that "Getting your xbox 360 info" showed up again and still no black line filling the white bar. Is that the problem?

 

It would be in the Xbox One settings.

When you start Dead Space, press the menu and view buttons at the same time to bring up the guide and select Download Profile again. See what happens.

 

Now I can't even start Dead Space because I don't have the right to own the game.

I downloaded Dead Space when it was April free game, now after I cleared 360 storage and reset factory, I had this problem!

 

After that, I try to play Alan Wake and I still can't connect to live to download my profile. Is the 360 Backward Compatibility broken?

 

So is there another way to fix this problem Blitz?

 

Do you have an Xbox 360 handy? I would like to see if you could sign into a 360 console, and then try to switch to a backwards compatible title.

 

No, I don't have an xbox 360. It seems there are a lot of people who have difficulty signing to Xbox Live while play an xbox 360 backward on xbox One, not just me. Now, I just give up playing Dead Space because I don't have the right to own the game anymore,
that is really annoying.

 

There are. Usually a factory reset will fix it but there still remains a large population of gamers without online access on the 360 titles. It could potentially be a software issue, but I don't want to speculate just yet. I will continue to try to find
a solution for you.
