Dead Rising 4 or Remake of original at E3?

All this news leaking about this new Dead Rising has got me even more excited for next weeks conferences. So pumped if this is true.

Dead Rising Remake and Dead Rising 4 -- Capcom is crazy these days

So can anyone explain me why the hell someone wouldn't decipher that DR4 is highly unlikely to be a remake of DR1? Especially when they clearly don't have any reason to believe so except that "it was supposed to be a remake".

If you like ploughing through waves of zombies & Dead Rising 4 isn't enough it looks like the are remakes of Dead Risng,Dead Rising 2 & DR2: Off the Record in the works.

Personally I might be interested in the first one but for some reason I could never get into the 2nd game.

All depends on price & when they are released,there are plenty of new games coming to keep me busy so we'll see.

Don't think I've been this excited for E3 in a loooong time. Crossing fingers it's got Frank and a great setting like the mall.

 

If true that would be awesome. I just hope it's new and not just a remake with nicer graphics. We'll see soon enough. I'm pumped for E3. It start at 5:30 here just as I finish work.

 

Well it's confirmed. It's a brand new game set in the original town of Willamette, Colorado - Mall.

Gameplay looks FANTASTIC and excited to see the direction of this series. Those selfie photos are going to be great as well. This game alone made it worth it to me.

 

Is this a Xbox/Windows exculsive or not all games shown this was one of the only ones that didn't use the wording Xbox one and Windows 10 exculsive

 

@cheesy911 - you are correct that this was the one game they didn't mention those phrases on. I don't know at this time if it will be released on other platforms.

Sources on Reddit, claim it is a Win 10 / Xbox exclusive as MS funded the development of the game.

 

I'm guessing it could be timed like tomb raider but even when they announced that it did say Xbox exculsive so I don't know will get it which ever way but I normally get multiphat games on ps4 as that's in my man cave and Xbox is in living room for the family

 

Yeah I thought it was weird it didn't say it was an exclusive as DR3 was, but in any case I'm definitely excited for this game!

 

Hearing Steam release as well.

 

I just watched a 9 minute gameplay video and it looks really cool. It's like stupid mindless fun.

 

Hoping this will be a play anywhere title.

I hope they will keep the new game mode introduced in DR3 ( the one where we can take our time)
