Dead rising 3 help

Hey guys I'm on dead rising level 14 I think just met red and Annie at the hotel and I was wondering I saw a. Video and noticed the guy had 3 survivors with him all women and they all had combo weapon I was wondering how do I get more survivors and how
do I give them combo weapons because ATM I have one survived called Anna I think met her when I found her spray cans and I can't give her combo weapons and I was just wondering if anyone new how I could get more to follow me as I'm always helping ppl

You will get more survivors later in the game by doing side missions. You can give them combo weapons by selecting them to go with you (once you get them on your safehouse board) by looking at them and there should be an option to give them weapons. Not
all people you rescue will follow you, it is only the side missions that have survivors listed as part of the reward.

 

You get new survivors after finishing a side missions.

Side missions are unlock with the main story,new chapter new side missions.

About giving them a combo weapon,i don't know.

 

Ok any idea what side missions get survivors as iv done a few and none of them follow me

 

I can tell you this! When attempting chapter 7 on Nightmare mode for the achievement do not do ending "D" you will not get the achievement.

 

Did you got the phone ?

After get it (main story), someone will tell you were you can find them.

There are also some random suvivors but they just thank you and leave.Short event just to earn some extra PP

 

looking at your side missions, there are little box icons on them, if one of them has a picture of a little stick person, then you get a survivor for completing it, and survivors can only have certain combo weapons, i like to give them the Z.A.R. because
it's powerful and survivors never run out of ammo.

also in every safehouse there is a survivor board which you cna use to check or uncheck them (check means they follow you, uncheck means stored away until you check them)

 

I'm not certain, but I think the ZAR is the only combo weapon that you can give to them.

 

No. I give them laser swords all the time

 

Laser sword doesn't* come until much later in the game from what I recall.

But can you give them any combo? I don't think they will take the stronger more powerful combo weapons. The laser sword is an average weapon. Nothing too special about it.
