  1. Dead Rising 3 - Cannot Play Cooperative

My friend and I both have open NATs but can't join one another's game. We join the same party, get to the main menu, I start my game and "Invite Friends to Party", he accepts the invite and then... nothing. Nothing happens! No error, no success, just nothing.
We're then in on another's game according to the party, so we can't send another invite without leaving multiplayer and trying again, but no amount of trying is fixing this.

Help, please? I bought this game for cooperative and haven't been able to play.

    :)

Battlefield 4 - Save games for campaign are gone...

Is there a similar bug on Dead Rising 3? My son cannot save any of his game play on Battlefield4 or Dead Rising3 -so infuriating!!!

Dead Rising 3 - Cannot Play Cooperative

    Hey there Digital Limit!

Sorry to hear about the multiplayer issues! Even though you have an open NAT, there are some cases where you could have an invisible NAT. Is your router connected to a gateway by any chance? Also, do you and your buddy live near each other with the same
ISP? That info will help us! Dead Rising 3 - Cannot Play Cooperative :)

I am experiencing the exact same problem, however, my friend and I had been able to play together in the past.

In the past, we've been able to play cooperatively sitting in the same room, sharing the same ISP, Router, etc. (obviously separate TVs, consoles, and game discs)

In the past, we've also been able to play cooperatively in different locations (approx. 400km distance).

HOWEVER, all coop play inviting was always very strange for DR3. I would send the game invite, he would get the notification, hold the xbox button to join and NOTHING would happen. I would follow up by sending another game invite using the option on the
menu screen, and after sending the second invite he would join automatically. Did not require a notification popup or manually selecting to join the game. We agreed that this was strange behaviour, but shrugged it off since it was working.

Then, suddenly around Oct. 20, 2014, even that technique stopped working. I would send the invite, he'd get the notification popup, hold xbox button to join, and NOTHING happens. Follow up game invites also did NOTHING. Same thing happens when he initiates
    the invites.

We've tried every possible troubleshooting case we can think of, but nothing has worked. Even gone as far as factory default setting resets on our consoles. This wasn't a try-once-and-give-up thing for us. We've literally tried everything we can think
    of.

We can both play multiplayer with random people, but not play multiplayer with our party members (friends).

Like the OP stated, we also bought the game to play cooperatively, which we cannot do anymore for some unknown reason. The DR3 websites, Capcom website, and fan forums have instructions on how to play cooperatively, but pretty much every site I visit, multiple
people are saying the party invites to play cooperative are NOT working, but no company seems to be taking action on the well known, widely observed issue...

  6. My router is the TP-LINK TL-WR841N Wireless N300 Home Router. It's connected to a standard modem /router combination which is setup in bridge mode by TWC, our ISP. Both Xbox Ones are connected to the same router as my friend is my roommate, so we are in
fact also using the same ISP.

    Hey there Digital Limit!

There is a chance that the router you own does not support more than one Xbox One console connected to the network. Is it possible for one of the consoles to be connected to a different network, maybe at a friend's or family's home? If you both could test
it while connected to different networks, that will really help us narrow down the issue! Dead Rising 3 - Cannot Play Cooperative :)

I'm not sure I'll be able to test from a separate network. We have been able to play together in other games, however. Titanfall, Halo:TMCC, and Forza Horizon 2 for instance all allow both consoles to play together. Titanfall and Forza have dedicated servers
for their multiplayer, but I believe campaign cooperative in Halo is peer-to-peer, so I'd say that game is the best evidence that it's not my router.
