Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate - Menu Locked

Discus and support Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate - Menu Locked in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I put the disc in and start the game.     Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate - Menu Locked


    So I put the disc in and start the game. It notified me that the game needed to be updated it, so I did. Then it said I had to download costume catalogues #4, 9, 11, 14, and 17. then I saw that the menu was all locked/crossed out and the only thing i was
    able to choose was the xbox marketplace. So, i went ahead and downloaded the required costume catalogues. My game still won't play. then I went into the hard drive to see what has been downloaded and the costume catalogue numbers were all *** up. So if I downloaded
    #4 it would say that #5 was downloaded. So then I deleted all of the costume catalogues and redownloaded them from the games tab in my games, through extras and it is still messed up. I cannot figure this out and play my game. I even deleted all of the updates
    and costume catalogue and i was able to play finally but it won't save my game because it isn't updated. someone please help!

    Before releasing "Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate" the guys at Tecmo released "Dead Or Alive 5".



    This game needed an online pass to allow you to play online against other people.



    Also you could buy costumes for your characters as they were released.



    Now when Tecmo announced they were releasing "Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate" people who had already bought "Dead Or Alive 5" said "Hey... wait a minute... what about all the stuff I bought for regular "Dead Or Alive 5"... are we going to lose it"?



    Tecmo said "Don't worry, the stuff you bought for "Dead Or Alive 5" carries over to "Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate".



    I am wondering if the reason you don't have access to the full menu is because they want you to buy an Online Pass.



    I bought an Online Pass for the original "Dead Or Alive 5" and have never been asked for one for "Ultimate" but that may be because I already bought it for the original DOA 5.



    Does that make more sense?



    Does it want you to buy an online pass?

    Do you have a copy of "Dead Or Alive 5" or "Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate"?



    I'm pretty sure the former had an "online pass".



    I had "Dead Or Alive 5" and then I bought "Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate". All my costumes bought for DOA 5 are there in DOA 5U. Does anyone know if you bought DOA 5U only if they want an online pass off you?

    I feel like I got ripped off.

    Not going to be buying DoA 5 Ultimate read that the game is unplayable with the Online Pass regardless if the user plays online or offline. The game would be useless locked down to just my own account.

    I have to say, DoA X2 has one of the best game manuals I've seen in a while, and by that I mean the artwork of the characters it's all detailed bit by bit and in colour, not to mention it's a pretty fat manual.

    I'm having a similar issue myself. Bought Ultimate for 360, downloaded the update, and when it upgraded to Last Round, it told me to download a bunch of costume catalogues. I pressed A and EVERY menu option was struck out. I took the disc out, went to Marketplace
    and downloaded all the free catalogues I could find, but most of the ones it actually listed weren't even available...

    Sigh. My menu is locked.

    Yes I downloaded every free patch.

    Yes I downloaded all the content.

    I cleared the cache.

    It still won't play.

    Second consecutive night its locked with no fix... boy I'm glad I bought this game. I got to play it for maybe five minutes.
