Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate cant play

Hey, I just downloaded Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate and all the options are greyed out. It says I have to download costume packs 4,9,11 to play. I did that, and downloaded the rest of the free ones. I also downloaded the content update, it still isnt working.
Any ideas?

Do you have a copy of "Dead Or Alive 5" or "Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate"?



I'm pretty sure the former had an "online pass".



I had "Dead Or Alive 5" and then I bought "Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate". All my costumes bought for DOA 5 are there in DOA 5U. Does anyone know if you bought DOA 5U only if they want an online pass off you?

Before releasing "Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate" the guys at Tecmo released "Dead Or Alive 5".



This game needed an online pass to allow you to play online against other people.



Also you could buy costumes for your characters as they were released.



Now when Tecmo announced they were releasing "Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate" people who had already bought "Dead Or Alive 5" said "Hey... wait a minute... what about all the stuff I bought for regular "Dead Or Alive 5"... are we going to lose it"?



Tecmo said "Don't worry, the stuff you bought for "Dead Or Alive 5" carries over to "Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate".



I am wondering if the reason you don't have access to the full menu is because they want you to buy an Online Pass.



I bought an Online Pass for the original "Dead Or Alive 5" and have never been asked for one for "Ultimate" but that may be because I already bought it for the original DOA 5.



Does that make more sense?

try resetting your console's cache. To do this go to settings, system, storage, highlight hdd, press y button, select clear cache. After you've cleared the cache restart your console and hopefully the game will work for you.

 

That did not fix the problem

 

What about deleting the game, then clearing the cache then re-downloading the game again

 

any solution to download costume catalog 14, tells me that you can not download, tried everything but can not play

This is terrible, I downloaded all the content (free) for DOA5U and is is not working at all. I get the same information to download content and it is there. But all modes are locked. I spent about 5 hours trying to get it going. Searched youtube, internet,
and game web site. Nothing, no solution. I think buyers should be warned not to buy this game.

 

I have spent 6 days trying to get this to work, I have emailed Tecmo everyday, and called their support phone number only to be disappointed with no contact. phone is 650-692-9080. I have logged all my emails and phone calls, and I am very disappointed that there is no customer care, or support to resolve my issue, or this issue. I will continue until I get some satisfactory answer and post the results. At the
same time I will start to inform consumers that this is a complete rip off, and not to buy this product.

 

havin the same problem. Locked out of game - downloaded ALL costume packs - still locked.

checked HD and it wasn't showing packs 9 or 11 - deleted everything and tried again. no change.

HD is registering some costume packs but not all despite downloading multiple times.

The in game marketplace is so badly laid it its a chore to navigate, 355 objects to search, in random order.

 

I love dead or alive game series, when i got dead or alive 5 it was doing good on my x-box 360 then i heard about dead or alive 5 ultimate but they say you needed to have x-box live to get new characters and costumes so i downloaded x-box live now i cant
play either games, because x-box live "family Settings" which i have tried to deal with but everything tried would not do. Please help me , to set up x-box live "family Settings"

 

Can we play basic DOA 5 ultimate offline without connecting to internet? Just directly from CD without loging in to any internet connection?

 

Has anyone found a fix for this? I am completely locked out of the game.
