DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round

Hey all. So I bought the full version of DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round and have a question. Only 4 characters are playable and the rest all have locks on them?

Am I missing something? I assumed the full version would have everyone unlocked?

Have you downloaded all the free DLC from the marketplace?

OP, it sounds like you have the "Core Fighters" ($9.99 US). There is another DL/ Purchase called "Full Game" for $39.99. You will need at least that version for all Fighters and Achievements. On the Xbox One when you purchase
the "Full Game" it will start to que and DL all the Characters and a few other Items without needing to do anything else.

Keep in mind though, not even the "Full Game" is everything. It will be missing a lot of Costumes and other Items. The price for everything is around $130+ (US). It's a rip the way DOA LR was ripped apart to sell in part.

Hmmm. I did pay 39.99 at gamestop

I also looked at the store tab in the game and the only thing that is available are outfits to buy?

Maybe I should return it for another copy. Thanks for the help though.

I have a disc copy of the game.

Rather annoyingly, instead of installing content from the disc... it immediately starts downloading the content from the marketplace.

But all the people should be there.

If you load up properly from the beginning, and make sure the game sees you are signed in, then the game should acknowledge you own everything and display them.

When I would get invited to a game from the dashboard... it wouldn't have time to read all the content and I'd arrive in my buddy's lobby with only 4 characters.

But if I loaded the game fully first it works fine.

Brilliant game.

Absolutely stupid way to manage the content though.

Dead or Alive 5 is not on the list of backwards compatible games for Xbox. There is a separate Dead or Alive 5 Last Round that works with the Xbox One consoles but the regular 360 version does not.

Hey Rock... I feel you, this is a little confusing. Team Ninja games have been lacking since Tomonobu Itagaki left the company after Gaiden II... I have the Xbox 360 first version of DOA5 and was looking to possibly get the X1 verison but after seeing the
$100 plus transactions for costumes im going to stay away from it... DOA and Ninja Gaiden series just havent been the same great games since Tomonobu Itagaki left... sad.
