Dead or Alive 5: Last Round price error

Has anyone noticed the price for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is incorrect? It is supposed to be $29.99 for the 360 and PS3 versions, yet it is priced at 39.99 just like the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Can Microsoft verify and correct the pricing? I want
to buy this game but not at 39.99. Thanks

Anyway, I have two issues. First, the updates to Last round deleted all my save data which is very frustrating. Is there anyway to recover my save game data?

Second, the DLC I purchased does not include the extra costumes as listed on the website:

As it lists on the website "All content from DOA5 and DOA5U listed below is included for free in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.". Yet the DLC I purchased and updates I downloaded DO NOT include these outfits.

Can you please clarify? Or give me an email of someone who can?

Thanks for the links. However, those pages are not official sources. You can only be sure of a price if it comes from an official source such as xbox.com, majornelson.com, etc.

 

Well, since this is not a retail release, I cannot go to sites like amazon and best buy to verify pricing. Guess I'll just wait for it to go on sale, as this appears to be an upgraded version of DOA5 Ultimate. Even the graphics for the box art shows Ultimate.

Team Ninja's page here (click on 360 for the full details). This will give you the ability to play with other users online that have the content purchased, and to purchase the Last
Round items without having to purchase the game again.

The price of $39.99 is something that we are now looking into, and once I have more information for you, I will post back in here. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

 

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I did not purchase Ultimate, so cannot take advantage of the free update. Will the free update make Ultimate the same game as Last Round?

It makes sense to me that the last gen versions would be $10.00 cheaper than the current gen versions (I believe Resident Evil Revelation 2 has the same price structure). I assume Tecmo sets the pricing so if there is a way to contact them to confirm, that
would be great!

 

We're still looking into the price difference now, but I wanted to pop in here and answer your other question.

The free update will make Ultimate the same game as Last Round, with all the characters previous being available for purchase still. The update gives users the ability to purchase characters that are Last Round specific as well.

Thanks for checking into this for me. I do appreciate it, but I will pass on this game for now and wait for it to go on sale. The Xbox One version has 2 extra stages and improved graphics, yet is priced the same as the 360 version. Guess you cannot believe
everything you read on the internet.
