You know Goth, when I was playing "Dead Or Alive: XTreme 2" I once realised that I was wearing nail polish that clashed with my swimsuit...

And remarked on this in the Party Chat I was in at the time.

I love Dead Or Alive: Xtreme 2 because I love designing outfits with matching nail polish, accessories, etc

I wish the Xbox One had a " fashion designer " type game because I would totally buy it

The only thing that I don't like about Dead Or Alive: Xtreme 2 are the super slutty outfits

I dealt with this issue (super slutty outfits) by going through every single character and throwing away all of the super slutty stuff so that when the computer randomly chose what the other characters would wear, it would be limited to those only

I love Watercraft Racing and playing the Volleyball game (but I am very rusty and need more practice to get back my skills in it LOL).

I also love the Casino games

The other activities are just " meh " in my opinion.

DOA is easily one of the best fighters around, The reason I still play DOA2 on the DC is because friends want to play it when they are over at my house. Ridiculous amount of unlockable content and a quality fighter, I even have arcade sticks to play it with.

 

@ Lei Fang, I discovered after just a few games that when downed to just roll away and not do a 'get up attack' as I was constantly the victim of a hold, so your tip is very helpful to newbies to this game such as myself.

Completely agree with Az too regarding not becoming too predictable.

I find it strange that when a fight starts you have a few seconds where both players can move but can't attack. Any advice on best way to start a fight, people's preferred options etc (move back, go straight for punch/kick attack, wait and attempt counter
hold etc)?

 

The most skilled players I've seen (and I am not one) appear to use block as a weapon fending off damage until an openning for an attack presents itself and then they do their damage and defend until they can do it again.

That's my biggest flaw as a player.

I do not block effectively and I neglect blocking.

One tactic that worked for me is to make the opponent dash towards you when you can

You need to know how do mix up those one hit blows as this has made me win countless encounters when the CPU opponent seems to be in a " counter everything you throw at them " mood
