Dead Island Riptide achievements not correctly registered

HI there,

i'm facing a very unusual and frustrating problem.

Started yesterday the game Dead Island Riptide (bought via digital download from the store), i quickly unlocked two achivements but:

- achivements are shown as unlocked in the in-game achievement list

- achievement are shown as unlocked in the "game achievements detail" page in the dashdoard (colored icons & unlock date)

- BUT: achivements are not counted in the "game total" gamerpoint , which still reports 0/35 for 0 gamerpoints.



It seems something went wrong with the achievements registration.. now i'm rather desperately trying to make these achievements obtanailble again, but the game seems to keep track of my previous progress,no matter what: tried do delete & redownload
the game, delete savegame, clear cache, remove the game from the gamerpoints history (i could that since like i said it reported 0 achievements won) and restart with a brand new savegame but to no avail.

I'm asking for help for these two different problems:

- Is there a way to have this error fixed, support-side? It's absurd that the very same dashboard shows uncoeherent data from the total and the "details" page

- Assuming that these two achievements did not register in Xbox Live, is there a way to completely "reset" the in game tracking so it will notifiy again the achievement unlock event?

Curently £6.40 on the store for each of these. I played Dead Island on the 360 but never played Riptide.

Is Riptide a better game, does the game last as long as Dead Island?

 

Go to your hard drive & delete your profile ONLY & redownload it.That usually sorts out these sort of issues.

You may have to unlock another achievement for the other ones to unlock.

 

I have to admit that deleting the profile sounds a bit scary to me (never did it before), anyway it seems well worth a try, thank you!

It worries me that this game, just like every other Techland title i played, keeps an "internal" track of achievement progression/unlocks: for example, even after i deleted & re-downloaded the whole game and deleted my savegame, the game kept all my stats,
including playing time, zombies killed... and achievements unlocked.

I don't think these stats are kept in my gamer profile and i hope that they won't mess things up. Anyway i'll try ASAP, thanks again.

Went through a sort of "rebuild" operation where my total gamerscore actually dropped by roughly 2.000 points, but after some minutes all was correct and up to date.

Don't know if the result is somewhat linked to being well into the seven-days-of-hope period, but anyway profile delete&download definitely did the trick.
