Dead Island Problem

Hello everybody i came here because i have a problem with a singular game, Dead Island...

i hope you can help me.

I Bought the game in Blockbuster, i started to play normaly and everything seems fine, but when i change the location of the map, it freezes, and the screen it´s totaly blocked,so i have to restart the xbox.

This problem is just with this game, i don't know why, i played Halo, Gears, Dead Rising etc. and all the games load normaly and without any problem, it's just this particular game.

i installed the game, and it freezes,i played with another Dead Island disc, it freezes.but all the another games load normally, it'scurious but at the same time very anoying.

i tried erase the cache and i installed again the game but the problem is still there, so i assumed the problem is that my xbox don't support the game, i don't know hehe maybe you can help me.

i have an Xbox Elite

Just got a new update for Dead Island... my problem remains. >_<

 

Chances are that your original copy--from Blockbuster--is damaged and when you installed it some data didn't get installed correctly. Uninstall it then replace the disc or install from a different copy in better condition.

Actually i did it, i installed another Dead Island copy but the problem is still there, in my friends xbox (his and my copy) the game run correctly , so i guess is my xbox but as i said, it's just with that "special" game, because all my games run and load
good, i think that my xbox don't support the game , but it can't be, isn't ?

 

Your console will support all Xbox 360 games.

If the disc works fine on another console your options are limited... you could try uninstalling the game and seeing if it will play correctly. If it does then you could have start of a defective HDD where data being written to it is getting corrupted.
