Dead Island Freezing

i cant get to the main menu and it freezes after i got the explore the island achievment

This is such a weird issue though. Hmmmm. Okay you said that it works fine with a different profile, right? Have you tried installing the game on your hard drive? Here's a link with a video of how to do that, if you need it:

If installing the game doesn't work, I'd try playing the game on a different profile until the point where you earn an achievement. Once you earn an achievement on the different profile, then try the steps I listed before about deleting your profile, clearing
cache 3 times, then redownloading profile. Let's see if that yields any better results. ^_^

my friend recovered my account and tried to play Dead Island Riptide on it and he also told me that it froze his xbox. So it must be something with my profile

Sorry to hear you're having issues with Dead Island.

There are a couple of things that I would recommend trying to this.

First, check Dead Island in your storage device and see if any of the save items show as corrupt. They would have a yellow
(!) next to them. If you find any, you will want to delete those before launching the game again. Please keep in mind that if your character file is corrupt, unfortunately that character will no longer be usable.

I would also recommend
clearing the system cache from your Hard Drive. If you have the game installed, you can also try

deleting and reinstalling it.

Please keep us posted on how those steps work for you and we'll go from there.
