Dead Island 2 - News, Ideas, etc!

There has been one game about zombies coming out next year in 2015. Here are some details of the game

The game's trailer uses "The Bomb - Pigeon John," That might be one soundtrack for the game

The game takes place in California

The graphics are colorful and bright not gloomy like Dead Island: Riptide.

Release date is the same date as when The Division releases which is 12/31/15.

Well, I guess that wraps up some details, now here are my ideas..

1: Please have a gigantic map with something that looks a bit like California

2: Multiplayer

3; If multiplayer is released. There should be a mode called Corners. Where four people can fight in maps that are specializing for combat, close quarters, sniping, and long range automatic shooting. Working for a person who uses any of these four things
in their classes. It will give advantages to people who are experienced in one of those classes. Sorry, if you're confused. Let me do an example.. Example: You're a class sniper. In maps there will be areas where you are safe to hide, camp, and shoot zombies
from far away. Another example: You're good at close quarters shooting cases, well maps will specialize helping all these four classes. It will be hard, trust me.

Dead Island 2 Announced! Huh???

Dead Island had some good ideas but the execution was terrible, it felt like a chore to finally beat the game even in co-op... Definitely keeping my eye on Dying Light but Dead Island 2 has to improve a lot to get my attention, A LOT.

One thing I'm curious about is whether anything will come of the "Saints Row x Dead Island 2015" that appeared in a line of code when the simulation crashed at the end of Saints Row IV.

Deep Silver snapped up the Saints Row IP when THQ went under, and they obviously own the Dead Island IP too. Now, a crossover wouldn't be too far fetched, especially if it appeared in the form of Saints Row 5 DLC.

But could there potentially be a AAA Saints Row/Dead Island crossover game? Hmm. {=)

The release date is not set to December 31st. That just means they plan to release it some time in the 4th quarter of 2015. Likely during the holiday season

 

I am very skeptical of DI 2 since the first game was so broken. I havent checked the trailers yet, but hopefully as it gets closer to release, I'll get more excited about the game.

 

@x24hrs, I use to see my friend play Riptide and the first one in 2012. They weren't broken, but they are no where near the level of this game. Check out the trailer, I definitely recommend it!

 

I really liked the first game, Riptide was pretty awful though.

The gameplay trailer they released last week for DI2 looks incredible though! Way stoked for this game now.

 

I have actually never played Riptide. But so much people hyped it like crazy!

 

Im played out on zombies. I still have to finish dead rising 3. but after that im not playing zombie games for a while
