    Dead Island Riptide gets first gameplay trailer.

    Apologies but I can't remember if there was a thread for this already but couldn't see one ...




    Deep Silver has released the first gameplay trailer for Dead Island Riptide.

    In this video the player seems to be collecting machine gun parts, which he then takes back to the base to help him shoot down hordes of zombies.

    As you'd expect, the video shows the player cutting his way through zombies using all manner of tools including a gun, pistol, axe and crossbow.

    That game looks like it was made especially for you Hog! Looks ok but not anything to get excited about for me. When will someone do a decent survival zombie game, something along the lines of State of Decay would be perfect. All these hack and slash
    zombie fests get a bit boring after a while.



    PS why call it Dead Island if its set on the mainland

    Thanks for posting this. It looks pretty gory but kinda reminded me of a 1st person Dead Rising 3. I'll probably pick this up though.

    I enjoyed the first 2 games although Riptide felt like an add on. I suppose it all depends on who you play it with but this doesn't look all that good tbh and I think Dying Light looks a lot better. The separate cel shaded Dead Island game looks interesting
    though.
