    Dead By Daylight Updates


    Hello and first of all,

    Thankyou.

    I've been enjoying Dead By Daylight and I accept that it is a work in progress.

    As some may know the game updates on weekly basis on a Tuesday. For the past two updates I have had to reinstall the game. After the reinstall the games is again fully updated but it seems to me that this is a backwards way of updating the game.

    So, I ask:

    What should be the natural process of updating for this game?

    Is it that it happens in the background i.e. similar to steam or is there a message or does one have to manually push the update?

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Game won’t download

    It has stopped again at 90.6% but the update has been cancelled as it says in updates that dead by daylight needs an update but it stops at 90.6% again

    Others have had this issue and signing out and back in seems to help.

    did you install dead by daylight or the special edition?

    You can play Dead by Daylight: Special Edition with Xbox Game Pass for Console, or buy it to own.

    dead by daylight is purchasable may have been on gamepass and rolled off.
