Dead By Daylight Requires Update But No Update shown?!

So I uninstalled and reinstalled because the game said I needed a patch work, then when I did this I couldn't join my friends because it said I still required an update? My friends have the version 5.2.2, but I have 5.2.1. How does this get fixed? Because I have reached out to dead by daylight and have not got a response.

After you download the Xbox app I recommend you clear your store cache.

Clear store cache >

windows key + r and type ''wsreset'' wait for the black screen to close and open the store automatically, it takes a while.

Install the 'Xbox' App from the Windows Store and Launch it. Then, go back to 'Downloads and Updates' in the MS Store and 'Get Updates'

It has stopped again at 90.6% but the update has been cancelled as it says in updates that dead by daylight needs an update but it stops at 90.6% again

I was going to play Blair Witch but that's got a big update that won't be done today so it looks like I'll be playing Dead by Daylight.

not much was working however what you said definitely seemed to have refreshed my downloads and updates properly. DBD update came up and is working so thank you

edit: I think this is a new issue everyone so, to sum up steps:

1 Windows Key + R

2 then type wsreset.exe

3 be patient for Microsoft store to pop up

4 go to top right dots for downloads and updates

5 dbd update should show up, if not repeat the process.
