Dead by daylight nightmare edition.

Others have had this issue and signing out and back in seems to help.

did you install dead by daylight or the special edition?

You can play Dead by Daylight: Special Edition with Xbox Game Pass for Console, or buy it to own.

dead by daylight is purchasable may have been on gamepass and rolled off.

you dont have to choose ,,maybe there is a code inside?

Also, you are correct this is what Is suppose to be in this Edition -

Therefore you need to contact the place of purchase as there should have been a piece of paper in the case with a code for these items.

The other thing to check is from the home screen on your Xbox - go into manage game and see what has been installed. Is it just the game or did it install the other items as well though they aren't being recognised.

I recently discontinued my game pass. I enjoyed my experience but didnt want to continue. But i still want to play dead by daylight, the game pass offers its special edition. I was look for versions to buy and found the nightmare edition, which
contains more killers and survivors than the special edition. I am worried that if i buy the nightmare edition that i will lose my game progress on the special edition version. Will the game data carry over or not?

I haven't played that game but it sounds like a lot like Friday the 13th, which I do play. Since its the same game just different content, your game progression will carry over, you'll just lose the content with that addition you're replacing.
