Dead By Daylight initialisation error

I used to play this game a lot and maxed out one of my characters just before the stranger things DLC came out. Since then i have played other games and i wanted to get back into as I love DBD. However ever since i reinstalled it this morning i kept
getting the initialisation error that told me to restart my game and showed my player id. I thought nothing of it and restarted my game to find out notting happened. Since then I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and reset my xbox by holding my finger
down on the button. I did these multiple times to no avail. I have found multiple other posts within the community about this issue last year and I have tried some of the ways to get around this that other players and some xbox moderators have said and none
have worked. My save file is gone so i cant delete it from the console and reload it when starting up the game and i haven’t had any luck so far. These posts that i read were from last year in July and before and most said the issue had been solved which obviously
hasn’t been. I don’t know if anybody else has the issue still so far.

I would absolutely contact Behaviour about this and see what they can do.

Have you tried posting in the Dead By Daylight community forums, too?

I know that the developers are pretty active on there and they're pretty active on Reddit, too!

A few days ago I had the same problem, over and over again. But I simply turn off and on my xbox and the problem was gone.

How long did you tried? Maybe its the game thats not working atm.

I did it a few times but the server was down at that moment

I tried this originally but after speaking to the actual forums it seems it was just the server going down
